Getting Here
Stone Gate Zendo is located on Ridge Road, two miles north of Craftsbury Common village. From Burlington (approximately 90 minutes): take I-89 North to Exit 10 (Waterbury), then Route 2 East to Morrisville, Route 15 East to Hardwick, and Route 14 North through Craftsbury to Craftsbury Common. At the village green, bear right onto Ridge Road. The monastery gate — a stone pillars entrance — is on the left after 1.8 miles.
From Boston (approximately 3 hours): take I-93 North to I-91 North, Exit 23 (St. Johnsbury), then Route 2 West to Hardwick, Route 14 North as above.
By public transit: The closest Amtrak station is White River Junction, VT (2 hours). Bus service (Greyhound / Vermont Translines) runs to Hardwick, from which a taxi or arranged pickup is necessary. If you are traveling without a car, please contact us — we can sometimes arrange transportation from Hardwick for retreat participants.
