Born in Nangchen, Kham, eastern Tibet, Lama Karma Dorje received his monastic training under some of the most revered masters of the twentieth century. After fleeing to India in 1974, he continued his studies at Karma Ling Monastery in Sikkim under an esteemed Kagyu lineage master.

Over four decades of intensive retreat and study, Lama Karma Dorje has transmitted the profound teachings of Mahamudra, the Six Yogas of Naropa, and the complete cycle of Bodhicitta practices to thousands of students across Asia, Europe, and North America.

He currently resides at Norbu Ling retreat center in Bir, Himachal Pradesh, where he offers teachings, empowerments, and personal guidance to practitioners of all levels.

The nature of mind is like the sky — vast, luminous, and beyond all limitation. Clouds arise and dissolve, but the sky itself is never stained. Recognise this, and you have found the path.
